Guide
Robot36 is a 320 × 240 colour SSTV mode sent in ~36 seconds.Sending
- Choose an image, drop one on the preview, or pick a test image.
- Choose how it fits: Fill crops, Fit adds borders, Stretch distorts.
- Optionally add your callsign as overlay text.
- Play sends audio to speakers, or Download WAV saves it.
Receiving
- Start microphone and hold near radio speaker, or use line-in.
- Lines appear as they arrive. Image stays frozen after complete.
- Open audio file decodes a saved recording instead.
- Save PNG exports the picture. Clear resets.
Test patterns
- Colour bars / Test card: check colour accuracy.
- Grey scale: check brightness levels (1500–2300 Hz).
- Geometry grid: straight lines; slant indicates clock drift.
- Resolution: tests fine line detail transmission.
